ALFA ROMEO

Anonima Lombardo Fabbrica Automobili . The first Alfas left the factory near Milan in 1910. In 1915 the plant was directed by Nicola Romeo and cars were marketed as Alfa Romeos.

From 1932 to 1986 the company was owned by the Italian Government  and since then by Fiat.

Alfa Romeo’s sports car history includes the designs of Vittorio Jano and its racing association with Enzo Ferrari.
